Through object electron holography

A method is suggested to perform electron off-axis holography with both the object and the reference wave passing through the object, hereby avoiding the need for a close edge. The phase ambiguity can possibly be solved by taking holograms with different biprism voltages and using the biprism in two orthogonal directions.
